My Background

When completing my business degree at the Queensland University of Technology, I stumbled across the field of copywriting and immediately fell head over heels for the practice. Graduating in 2011, I had a clear goal in sight and began to chase work and training specialised in the copywriting field.

In 2013, I completed copywriting training at AdSchool, which allowed me to seek out more advanced work. After many years of strengthening my experience as a writer and copywriter, my progression into management allowed me to see my future as an editor. My time was dedicated to guiding my team in developing their concepts and storylines and refining their copy and scripts.

I used the dragging days of lockdown to study Editing and Publishing and Advanced Editing and Publishing at the Australian College where I learned to professionally proofread, copyedit and line edit.
In 2023 I completed developmental editing training with the UCLA Extension program.
